Almost a head shot on a sow Y'all!!! Just a few inches left... Calebs second wild hog by rifle ever!!! He used the Stevens, Savage Arms .270, 150 grain bullet, in Federal Fusion. Bullet went in in at the colar bone and out in front of the shoulder, very high up. How did she not drop??? It should have hit the spine... Feral hog hunting in the hill country of Texas. Those wild hogs come in at the feeder and then spook out, came back several times, a boar, a few sows and lots of pocket pigs. Caleb makes a 115 yard shot by moonlight, hog down!!! But WHERE???
